Images of Arkansas

In western and northwestern Arkansas, half the cars include a bike rack, and people love getting outdoors and trying new things. This spirit of adventure is also what has made Arkansas home to some of the biggest business success-stories on the planet. It’s where everyone wants to be – and why there seems to be a bank on every corner.

Despite being one of the oldest banks in the region, First Western knew that history wasn’t enough to attract new customers. Stature was asked to help create brand awareness and define the First Western difference for both employees and customers. The result was not a quirky ad campaign or short-term growth strategy. It was an articulation of what makes the First Western experience so unique – and perfectly suited for this special place.

We didn’t create The First Western Way, we found it.

Working with the First Western marketing team, we worked hard to understand the “why” more than the “what.” Why are our customers so darn loyal? Why do our employees show up every day? What we found was something special, all we had to do was bring it to life.

Campaign headlines

The emotional power of images.

For customers who want a local bank, cheesy stock photography can be a real turn-off. Eye-catching images are an integral part of The First Western Way – showcasing the people and places that make this community what it is.

We produced a series of illustrations that First Western used to share their love of the outdoors with customers and employees. Stickers, t-shirts, coasters… lots of things were created!
